I Live and Breathe Dance!

Hi, I'm Renae

I am currently a junior at North Alabama Dance Center (NADC), where I am in the Gold level for all disciplines: ballet, modern, tap, jazz, and hip hop. I am also a member of the teen feature group. I’ve danced and competed with NADC for over seven years, bringing my solo to competition for the past three years (you can see those below). Last season, I was proud to win first overall at two competitions, and this year I was awarded the Senior Elite Title Winner - Ms. Huntsville.

I’ve choreographed two student group dances for my studio’s summer solo recital and even choreographed one of my own solos this year, which placed 4th overall. In addition to choreography, I cut music for my own solos and for other dancers, tailoring each track for optimal performance.

To continually improve, I take weekly private lessons and attend workshops and clinics at institutions like the University of Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn University, and Troy University. I was honored to be invited to the college student summer dance intensive at Troy University. I’ve also gained valuable experience as a crew member for Inspire Dance Competition during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons. As a student member of the Alabama Dance Council, I remain committed to my growth as a dancer and mentor.

Inspiring younger dancers is a passion of mine. I’ve served as a demonstrator for younger classes for the past five years, supporting their learning and growth. I also offer private lessons to help dancers develop their technique and reach their goals.

Currently, I work as an acro coach at Rocket City Tumbling Academy, where I enjoy teaching and encouraging students. Outside of dance, I’m active in my church’s youth group and teach a 4th-grade religious education class. My journey is about more than my own growth—it's about helping others discover and pursue their potential.
