I Live and Breathe Dance!

I am a Freshman in the Dance and Theater program at Troy University. Before college, I spent nine years dancing at North Alabama Dance Center, where I trained at the highest level in all disciplines: ballet, modern, tap, jazz, and hip hop, and was one of the fastest dancers ever to move up through the levels in the studio's history. I made multiple audition teams and competed with the studio for seven years. Over that time, I won first overall at three competitions, was the Senior Elite Title Winner - Ms. Huntsville twice, and was a four-time improv competition winner, all across more than 200 performances.

I choreographed three student group dances and a total of 12 solo dances for the summer solo recital. I choreographed my own solo three times, earning top 5 placements at competition on multiple occasions, and also choreographed two of my sister's solo dances. In addition to choreography, I cut music for my own solos and for other dancers, tailoring each track for optimal performance.

To continually improve, I took weekly private lessons and attended workshops and clinics at institutions like the University of Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn University, and Troy University. I was honored to be invited to the college student summer dance intensive at Troy University — an experience that helped confirm where I wanted to continue my dance journey. I also gained valuable experience as a crew member for Inspire Dance Competition during the 2023-2024, 2024-2025, and 2025-2026 seasons. As a student member of the Alabama Dance Council, I remained committed to my growth as a dancer and mentor.

Inspiring younger dancers was a passion of mine. I served as a demonstrator for younger classes for five years, supporting their learning and growth, and offered private lessons to help dancers develop their technique and reach their goals.

I taught tap, ballet, and jazz as a teacher at Elyon's Dance Studio in Meridianville. I also worked as an acro coach at Rocket City Tumbling Academy, where I enjoyed teaching and encouraging students.

Outside of dance, I was active in my church's youth group and taught a 4th-grade religious education class. That journey was about more than my own growth — it was about helping others discover and pursue their potential, and now I'm continuing that growth on stage at Troy University.
